PROF. MASAMITSU ITO

Dr. Ito is a professor of sports coaching at Nippon Sport Science University (NSSU). He is also the Director of the Center for Coaching Excellence and the Director of the NSSU Coach Developer Academy (NCDA) at the university. He is also responsible for the design of the Japan Sport Association's coach development program and coach developer training. He is also a member of High Performance Headquarters of the Japan Paralympic Committee, which helps national coaches to improve their skills. And from 2018 to 2024, he held a key position in the Women's Elite Coach Development Program run by NSSU supported by Japan's Sports Agency, where Dr. Ito was responsible for its operation for four years starting in 2020.
